Madison Memorial Hospital (MMH) is seeking an empathetic and patient Licensed Social Worker to provide services to patients. Under the direction of the Executive Director-Quality, the incumbent will proficiently handle end of life decisions and support services for patients and families including bereavement support and follow up, family/caregiver support for emergency “Code” situations and other crisis interventions. The MMH Social Worker will be competent in alcohol and drug intervention support programs and services as well as for victims of abuse, neglect, and violence. Compassionately adept, the incumbent will handle mental health support services, placements, and post-discharge mental health patient follow-up. Completing all tasks with compassion and objectivity the incumbent will be highly skilled in communicating with diverse populations concerning sensitive and delicate topics.
