We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our team. Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and schedule transportation activities, including assigning drivers and vehicles for deliveries and making orders with customers
- Monitor routes and track the progress of drivers using GPS systems
- Communicate with drivers to provide instructions, updates, and support throughout their routes
- Collaborate with the supply chain team to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Maintain accurate records of transportation activities, including driver logs, fuel usage, and vehicle maintenance
- Handle any issues or disruptions that may arise during transportation operations
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards
- Continuously monitor and evaluate transportation processes to identify areas for improvement

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in logistics or transportation management is preferred
- Strong knowledge of transportation planning and supply chain operations
- Familiarity with GPS systems and their use in tracking vehicles
- Proficiency in using transportation management software (e.g., AS400, SyteLine)
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
