Dispatcher, Sr. jobs in Bakersfield, CA

The Dispatcher assumes responsibility for all Ag Chem / Fertilizer orders from customers and the sales team and handles all shipments of incoming Ag Chem / Fertilizer.

This position is also responsible for managing Ag Chem / Fertilizer plant employees in the absence of the warehouse manager.

What your day may look like

• Receives Ag Chem / Fertilizer orders from customers, the sales team and custom applicators.
• Provides customer service regarding shipments, orders, etc.
• Schedules Helena's trucks for shipment of Ag Chem / Fertilizer to customers.
• Prepares scale tickets to ship fertilizer.
• Prepares delivery tickets and blend tickets.
• Assists the branch administrative assistant on collection documents, backing up computers and other clerical duties.
• Other work-related duties as assigned by leader.
• Reliable and regular attendance is expected.

Education and experience needed for this position

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Two years of work experience in the agriculture field is required.
• Must pass a drug test and background check.
