Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our team. As a Dispatcher, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and managing the transportation logistics for our company. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of roadside and tow services to our customers.If you have strong organizational skills and a passion for logistics, we would love to hear from you. The rate of pay is $600-$1000 per week depending on experience
Duties:
- Coordinate and schedule tow and road side service jobs
- Utilize transportation management systems to track services and monitor progress
- Communicate with drivers, providing them with necessary instructions and updates
- Monitor GPS systems to track the location of vehicles in real-time
- Maintain accurate records of all transportation activities
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in dispatching or logistics is preferred
- Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS)
- Proficient in using GPS systems and other relevant technology
- Strong analytical skills to assess routes and make data-driven decisions
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Familiarity with fleet management is an asset
