Dispatching for A to Z Dependable Services is a critical role for our team. Communication with our Service Experts in the field and customers is vital to the operations and customer service. You will celebrate success throughout the day as you provide WOW Service to our customers. As well when you serve the Service Experts with your critical thinking and problem solving skills.

What you will do:

Schedule customer jobs and assign work to field service technicians, meeting customer demand for strategic, efficient and accurate service visits. The Dispatcher position requires being highly organized. Possessing a friendly demeanor with customers, and strategic thinking.

• Hourly Full Time: Generally scheduled 40 hours. More hours may be required based on the needs of the business
• Relay work orders, messages, or information to or from work crews, supervisors, or field inspectors, using telephones or face to face.
• Confer with customers or supervising personnel to address questions, problems, or requests for service or equipment.
• Determine types or amounts of equipment, vehicles, materials, or personnel required, according to work orders or specifications
• Prioritize and assign jobs to Service Experts
• Maintain the schedule to keep travel time to a minimum, as much as feasible.
• Forecast workload for 2 – 3 days out

Requirements

What we are looking for:

• Typical work week is 8-10 hour workdays, Monday Friday, with rotating Saturday shifts
• Must be able to bend, squat, climb stairs/ladders and lift over 50 lbs
• Physical ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties.
• Must be willing to work in inclement weather including but not limited to, heat, rain, snow, cold, etc
• Strong customer service skills. Calm demeanor; able to deal with variety of customer responses while maintaining appropriate disposition and focus on issues at hand
• Ability to multitask and make scheduling and logistical decisions quickly
• Experience in Service Industry or Dispatching REQUIRED
