EMPLOYMENT TERM: 2023-2024 School Year 250 days
QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Minimum of Master’s Degree, required
2. Valid WV Teaching Certificate
3. Valid WV Certificate in Administration, Prior Experience preferred
4. Five years acceptable teaching experience
5. Experience & success in designing and delivering Staff
Development, Professional Development/Professional Learning.
6. Knowledge of current trends and research that apply to
literacy and instructional best practices
7. Experience in Federal Programming/Budgeting
8. Ability to identify and impart relevant research and resources
to assist schools with the core curriculum
9. Experience in curricular planning
10. Experience in Elementary and Secondary curriculum
11. Experience in developing CTE curriculum
12. Experience in Pre-K curriculum
13. Interpersonal skills to effectively share proven instructional
approaches with teachers and administrators
14. Strong organizational skills

SALARY: Based on Professional Salary Scale for Degree and Experience
JOB GOAL: To provide assistance to schools in core academic areas. To
develop, implement and evaluate Federal programs and
design and deliver effective staff development, initiatives and
strategies to enhance instruction.
ESSENTIAL JOB
FUNCTIONS:
1. Responsible for coordinating, administrating and evaluating the activities,
materials, and personnel, whose functioning is related to Federal Programs.
2. Must keep abreast of Federal legislation affecting these education programs.
3. Will assist in project evaluations and audits (Federal and State).
4. Assist schools with assessment of current instruction practices and prioritizing areas
of focus for curriculum and instruction enhancement.
5. Work collaboratively with administrators and teachers, Title I
Teachers and Interventionists, to create the school’s academic
Professional development plan
6. Assist in the development and implementation of instructional
programs, grants, and school and county Strategic Plan.
7. Responsible for Elementary,Secondary, and CTE curriculum.
8. Knowledge/Expertise within interpreting data and providing
guidance for teaching instruction at the school level.
9. Analyze student achievement data to determine program effectiveness
10. Oversee all After School and summer programs
11. Oversee coordination of all academic extracurricular activities.
12. Other duties assigned by the Superintendent
