Summary Beach Babies is a family owned and operated learning center where children from ages 6 weeks old through school age and their families are not just customers but are family. Our incredibly loving and nurturing team of teachers are committed to our philosophy that children deserve to feel loved, supported, safe and confident while being appreciated for who they are as individuals. Beach Babies was designed by Allison McCarthy and her husband Mark to be not just a learning center or daycare but a place for children to be able to play and grow and feel part of a community. Allison works on site each day with our team in a very hands on capacity. It is our belief that it?s a good day when a child goes home happy, healthy, maybe a little dirty from playing and knowing they are loved. Beach Babies is currently in the process of becoming accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). Working toward this achievement means that Beach Babies is very focused on designing and implementing curriculum that will meet the standards set forth by NAEYC. Our curriculum addresses the development of children in the following domains: social and emotional, physical, language, early literacy, early mathematics, science, technology, creative expression, health and safety, and social studies. Our classrooms include infant, toddler, two year olds, preschool and pre-k.
