Director - Induction, Early Childhood Education and Expanded Learning Programs
This position is responsible for all activities and direction of the planning, development, coordination, evaluation, implementation, maintenance, and research of the Teacher Induction Program, Early Childhood Education, Universal Pre-kindergarten, and Expanded Learning programs. Tentative recruitment schedule for this position will be the week of May 13th.
In order to meet the requirement for the ECE Director Permit, the district is seeking a candidate who has the necessary qualifications to obtain the permit within 6 months of employment and maintain it in alignment with CTC requirements. Qualifications: Minimum of five (5) years of satisfactory teaching experience. BCLAD Credential or Bilingual Certificate of Competence in Spanish is highly desirable. Successful experience as a site administrator or demonstrable experience in Child Development programs is preferred; however, other relatable leadership and child development experience will qualify.
