The Mendoza College of Business at the University of Notre Dame is home to more than 2,200 undergraduate and 900 graduate students in 14 highly ranked academic programs.
The Experiential Learning Program Director will oversee the creation and delivery of programming to enhance experiential learning for all Mendoza College of Business students. The Program Director is responsible for strategically developing, implementing, and evaluating experiential learning initiatives across Mendoza's undergraduate and graduate business programs (MBA, MBA/MSBA, MSM, and MSA).
The Program Director:
- Manages relationships with multinational corporations, subject matter experts, nonprofits, alumni, and others.
- Is responsible for working closely with faculty in curriculum development and management of a portfolio of experiential learning programs including, but not limited to: Interterm, a week-long set of credit-bearing courses and projects conducted during the middle of each semester (Fall and Spring), and includes sourcing, content design and scoping, marketing, student registration, and program evaluation, as well as co-curricular opportunities, like local, regional, national and international case competitions, Meyer Fellows cohort programming, etc.
- Will liaison with the team that provides leadership to Mendoza's Business on the Frontlines for the purpose of ensuring collaboration and alignment as appropriate.
- Supervises an Associate Director and Assistant Director.
- Collaborates closely with Mendoza Admissions, Student Services, Operations, Career Services, and Alumni Relations while working with a multitude of other stakeholders both inside of Mendoza and Notre Dame to ensure that we are providing programs that support student skill development and market needs. The Program Director will oversee a budget.
- Serves as an advisor to various student clubs/organizations.
Non-degree programming will also fall into the responsibilities of this position while we determine a comprehensive strategy for non-degree programming.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Masters degree or Bachelors degree or advanced certification beyond Bachelors
- 7 or more years of relevant experience
- Business or commensurate work experience
- Must demonstrate proven ability to develop and launch new educational initiatives along with excellent planning, communication skills, networking, and relationship management skills.
- Must have the ability to work effectively with faculty, students, administrators, and corporate community leaders.
