Distribution Center Supervisor supervises daily planning, organizing, and operations of a distribution center. Oversees one or more of the distribution center functions, including order processing, picking, packaging, shipping, and receiving. Being a Distribution Center Supervisor monitors inventory levels to ensure sufficient levels to fulfill all orders. Balances workloads as needed to achieve production and delivery goals for each shift. Additionally, Distribution Center Supervisor utilizes software, data, and analytics to optimize operations, track production metrics, and anticipate and resolve problems. Provides the necessary equipment, tools, and training to staff to ensure safe, secure, and efficient operations. Complies with all OSHA and other regulations, policies, safety procedures, and documentation requirements. Typically requires an associate degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be a Distribution Center Supervisor typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Position Description
Provides technical support for pharmacy operations in accordance with The Georgia State Board of Pharmacy, The Joint Commission, DEA, USP 797, and any other regulatory and accrediting agencies. Also acts in accordance with protocols, health-system policies and procedures, applicable standards, and pharmacy best practices. Responsible for furthering the hospital's mission of education. This position is essential to customer service for other healthcare disciplines and our patients.
Position Requirements
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent from a recognized State or Federal accrediting organization. Exceptional organizational skills, strong interpersonal/communication skills and customer service focus; attention to detail, ability to multitask and prioritize, math and computer proficiency. GA Board of Pharmacy Technician License.
Preferred Requirements
Vocational or technical training or degree in Pharm Tech certificate from accredited school. 2 years or more of experience in pharmacy as a technician (aseptic compounding, hospital practice). Strong critical thinking and problem-solving ability, demonstrated commitment to safe medication practices, patient safety, evidence of self-motivation and the ability to work independently and within a team, flexiblity and able to accommodate changing priorities.
