Utilize your logistics expertise and supervisory skills in a manufacturing environment. You will leverage your team's experience and skills to support on supply chain services, inventory control, critical parts availability, material handling, import-export licensing, shipment of products, and third-party warehousing. You will evaluate customer support and field service commitments to ensure customer requirements are met. You will provide data analysis for production planning and volume studies; and participates in process/rating improvement efforts. As a team supervisor, you will coach your team members in technical and behavioral competencies to deliver high impact to business results.

Key Responsibilities

·         Lead the team to execute the logistics strategy

·         Manage overall operational targets

·         Evaluate material flow

·         Ensure transaction compliance

·         Supervise logistic team

·         Improve labor efficiency

·         Manage Third Party Warehouse relationship

·         Drive team excellence and talent retention

·         Drive continuous improvement culture

·         Demonstrate and enforce an environment of safety

·         Presence on floor to build operational awareness and employee relationships

·         Ensure all headcount and labor hour goals are met

·         Coach employees to reach maximum performance focused on behaviors and results that drive performance

·         Manage and drive business objectives by developing and executing plans to achieve results

·         Oversee activities directly related to warehouse operations by utilizing Lean tools and methodologies

·         Ensure all best practice procedures are followed in all areas of responsibility

·         Establish and implement departmental policies, goals, objectives, and procedures

·         Ability to adapt and react to change

·         Identify opportunities for innovation

·         Develop a strong working culture by showing appreciation and recognition

·         Demonstrates the ability to create a positive employee relations environment which results in high performing teams
