Distribution Center Supervisor supervises daily planning, organizing, and operations of a distribution center. Oversees one or more of the distribution center functions, including order processing, picking, packaging, shipping, and receiving. Being a Distribution Center Supervisor monitors inventory levels to ensure sufficient levels to fulfill all orders. Balances workloads as needed to achieve production and delivery goals for each shift. Additionally, Distribution Center Supervisor utilizes software, data, and analytics to optimize operations, track production metrics, and anticipate and resolve problems. Provides the necessary equipment, tools, and training to staff to ensure safe, secure, and efficient operations. Under the direction of the EVS Director, the EVS Supervisor works collaboratively with the EVS Director, other EVS Supervisors, Team Leaders and Staff to assure the daily assignments and goals are met. This position will primarily work on the hospital floors and patient rooms and handle the day to day activities, wipe samples, and training needs of the departments; tracking of supply use, patient discharge information (Epic bed board as needed), linen utilization, new hire onboarding, and staff scheduling. This role will communicate with hospital staff, EVS staff, visitors, and patients on a regular basis. In addition, this role provides support to staff in the form of ongoing training and competency development. This role maintains adequate supply levels through ordering and par level assessment. This role performs quality assurance monitoring and room cleanliness checks and communicates results to various chains of commands.
