Oversees one or more of the distribution center functions, including order processing, picking, packaging, shipping, and receiving. Balances workloads as needed to achieve production and delivery goals for each shift. Additionally, Distribution Center Supervisor utilizes software, data, and analytics to optimize operations, track production metrics, and anticipate and resolve problems. Supervisor Sleep Disorders Center and PFT Department
A private practice in Pensacola Florida has a need for a supervisor in our Sleep Disorders Center and Pulmonary Function Testing departments. This position is responsible for clinical excellence, efficient department operations, personnel supervision, patient services supervision, and financial success. This is a clinical "hands on" position. Essential duties include: Score and manage sleep study reports; Provide after-hours support for sleep study testing; Perform Cadwell Easy III (acquisition system) maintenance; supervise personnel and schedules; order and maintain testing supplies; maintain AASM accreditation and adherence to standards; perform patient insurance authorizations; perform CPAP/supplies ordering; perform daytime sleep studies (HSAT, MSLT, etc) as needed. Perform other duties as needed or assigned. Reports to the practice administrator.
Basic Requirements:
Current Registered Polysomnographic Technologist; Current BLS; Minimum 2 years’ experience in polysomnography; Ability to consistently maintain quality in a heavy production environment; Close attention to detail; Strong oral and written communication skills; Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills; Ability to assimilate and adapt quickly to job-related changes; Ability to work independently with minimum supervision. Must have current knowledge and understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, compliance with HIPAA laws and regulations.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk and sit. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include color vision. Requires prolonged sitting, some bending, stooping and stretching, requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, calculator and other office equipment. Requires normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare and communicate appropriate reports.
