Oversees one or more of the distribution center functions, including order processing, picking, packaging, shipping, and receiving. Essential Duties:
1. Physically receives and replenish warehouse stock with incoming goods. Maintains system of inventory rotation (first in, first out).
2. Accurately inputs daily requisition order into IMMs Inventory Control system. Utilizes “picklist” to fill requisition for delivery.
3. Appropriately uses departmental equipment i.e. forklift, pallet jack, hand truck or electric cart, to deliver requested goods to appropriate departments.
4. Coordinates with Receiving to deliver special order items and STAT overnight deliveries in a finely fashion.
5. Works with buyers and departments to coordinate pickup of goods to be returned to vendor or warehouse.
6. Assists with care and maintenance of departmental equipment and supplies.
7. Open boxes and repack into bins along with routine wipe down of bins on a daily basis.
8. Breakdown cardboard boxes.
9. Performs monthly cleaning as assigned; keeps department clean and orderly.
10. Assists in new employee orientation as requested.
11. Demonstrates the ability to handle and transport IV solutions and all products containing medications, i.e. lumbar puncture trays, thoracentesis trays, central line trays, amniocenteses trays, etc. per Pharmacy policy.
12. Performs other duties as assigned or required.
