Job Description

The dispatcher is the lifeline to our delivery and fulfillment teams. This person will work to prioritize trucking and shipping routes to all Dunn Lumber locations.

They regularly communicate with drivers about workflow and any relevant changes and stay up to date on the latest regulations regarding trucking and the Department of Transportation.

Qualifications

Qualifications include :

• Communicating workflow and workflow changes to drivers.
• Optimizing driver routes to maximize trucking efficiency.
• Maintain a current understanding of both trucking and the Department of Transportation regulations.
• Communicating with leadership teams, sales teams, and other Dunn Lumber departments to solvedispatch related issues.

This position is in a corporate office environment. The noise level of the environment is quiet, and we ask that employee's be respectful in terms of noise level.

This position has no lifting requirements, no required certificates, licenses, or registrations. To perform this job successfully, an individual should have competent knowledge of typing skills and general computer use abilities with emphasis on Microsoft Office programs.
