Distribution Clerk, Sr. performs a variety of clerical, customer service, and administrative duties to support operations of a distribution center. Monitors inventory levels to ensure sufficient levels are available to fulfill all orders. Being a Distribution Clerk, Sr. ensures that all required paperwork, including labels, packing lists, and transport instructions, is prepared. Utilizes tracking systems to input or look up information. Additionally, Distribution Clerk, Sr. complies with all OSHA and other regulations, policies, safety procedures, and documentation requirements. GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Accountable to the Deputy Director, the Clerk is responsible for pulling interlock reports, serving as a back-up to the front desk, and providing support as needed for the administrative services for the Department.
RESPONSIBILITY AND RELATED TASKS
1. Reviews any and all interlock reports received from the service provider for any violations. These reports typically indicate whether or not an offender is in compliance. Any violation(s) noted in the reports will be reported to the officer. If a report is not received as expected, the service provider is to be contacted and a request for the report should be made.
2. Scans in documents including, but not limited to: Court Orders, Amended Orders, Intake Packets, Offense Reports, Criminal Histories, Personal Data Sheets, AbelTerm Documents, Offender Information (medical, financial, etc.), Correspondence, Court Records and all other Supervision Documents.
3. Performs front desks duties which include but are not limited to: answering multi-line telephone system, directing calls to appropriate persons, processing payments, notifying the correct Supervision Officer when a probationer reports, and balancing cash drawer on a back-up basis if assigned/needed.
4. Performs probationer, public and staff assistance.
5. Performs other job related duties as assigned/needed.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND TRAINING
High School Diploma or equivalent (GED). Ability to use general office machinery and proficient with the computer (“computer literate”). Must have good written and oral communication skills.
Must have the ability to deal with high stress situations and the physical ability to conduct all phases of the responsibilities and tasks.
Must possess valid driver’s license and maintain current auto insurance.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITITES
Ability to work harmoniously with the administration and co-workers. Knowledge of time management techniques and self motivational skills.
Must have the willingness and ability to complete all assignments in a timely manner.
