Distribution Clerk, Sr. performs a variety of clerical, customer service, and administrative duties to support operations of a distribution center. Monitors inventory levels to ensure sufficient levels are available to fulfill all orders. Being a Distribution Clerk, Sr. ensures that all required paperwork, including labels, packing lists, and transport instructions, is prepared. Utilizes tracking systems to input or look up information. Additionally, Distribution Clerk, Sr. complies with all OSHA and other regulations, policies, safety procedures, and documentation requirements. Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Distribution Clerk, Sr. works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job. RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides purchasing and material issuing services to all HCHS Facilities. This includes: Ordering and receiving materials, monitoring prices and stock levels of materials at HCHS. Performing the daily courier run to the outlying clinics. Performing stock room inventory. Monitoring supplies for expiration dates and purging out-of-date materials. Assists with placing supply and special equipment orders. Will assist with special projects as requested.
HOURS:
Full-time, 80 Hours a Pay Period, Monday through Friday.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school graduate or equivalent desired. One year of materials management experience preferred. Experience in computerized ordering and recording keeping systems preferred. Must have good written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
