Distribution Clerk, Sr. performs a variety of clerical, customer service, and administrative duties to support operations of a distribution center. Monitors inventory levels to ensure sufficient levels are available to fulfill all orders. Being a Distribution Clerk, Sr. ensures that all required paperwork, including labels, packing lists, and transport instructions, is prepared. Utilizes tracking systems to input or look up information. Additionally, Distribution Clerk, Sr. complies with all OSHA and other regulations, policies, safety procedures, and documentation requirements. Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Distribution Clerk, Sr. works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job. Examples of MHE include cherry picker, reach truck, double reach, sit down forklift and motorized pallet jack. Core Job Responsibilities/Requirements: Unloads pallets and cases from inbound trailers and/or containers manually and/or using MHE to include manual pallet jack, motorized pallet jack, sit down or standup forklift, and standing reach truck. Accurately counts, verifies, and receives product using radio frequency (RF) equipment and/or Voice Pick Technology Documents variances Moves case of product from the inbound dock to storage locations in the warehouse using a standing reach truck or stock picker Moves pallets and/or cases from reserve location to pick location using a standing reach truck, stock picker, or sit down forklift Operates a forklift and picks items as high as 35 feet in the air Builds pallets and delivers them to designated area for shipping Uses sit down forklift, electric or manual pallet jack to load pallets Maintains a safe and clean work environment Follows safety policies and procedures and corrects or communicates hazards to management Maintains productivity and quality standards Required Skills, Abilities and Experience: Able to count and perform basic math calculations Demonstrated ability to operate various MHE Ability to follow general sequencing and process procedures Attention to detail a must. Teammate must be skilled to identify errors down to the single digit or letter. Attendance records will be reviewed for all internal candidates.
