Distribution Clerk, Sr. performs a variety of clerical, customer service, and administrative duties to support operations of a distribution center. Monitors inventory levels to ensure sufficient levels are available to fulfill all orders. Being a Distribution Clerk, Sr. ensures that all required paperwork, including labels, packing lists, and transport instructions, is prepared. Utilizes tracking systems to input or look up information. Additionally, Distribution Clerk, Sr. complies with all OSHA and other regulations, policies, safety procedures, and documentation requirements. Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Distribution Clerk, Sr. works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job.     Pull all requisitions and properly load and deliver all products and supplies to every outlet on a daily basis.  Deliver and stock products properly according to the needs of each department. Always maintaining safety-minded practices.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    • Must have valid driver's license and be able to operate a box truck.
    • Able to lift at lease 50 lbs and deliver resort goods daily.
    • Able to follow delivery routes and maintain a fair delivery time schedule.
    • Maintain a clean and organized truck and warehouse.
    • Must be able to thrive in a team-oriented environment and serve the internal guest.
    • Observe guidelines for using and maintaining all equipment. Promptly report all safety hazards and maintenance requirements. 
    • Remain informed of safety procedures, equipment, and protective clothing requirements to consistently ensure the safety and security of all guests and associates.
    • Strictly adhere to resort policy and procedures in order to be responsive to guest and associate needs in emergency situations.
    • Strict compliance to resort hazard communications program including thorough knowledge of MSDS, labeling, storing, and handling of materials, etc.
    • Observing resort standards and dress code/appearance is always professional.
    • Always have a positive impact while interacting with all Nemacolin associates.
    • Must be able to work independently with the defined goals in mind.
    • Able to work outside the box on all resort and departmental needs.
    • Properly operate and inspect vehicles daily, reporting any issues to the supervisor.
    • Assist with resort special events on the property as needed with a flexible schedule.
    • Use the Eatec system to make receipts for all requisitions, pull inventory order requisitions and always cross-check for accuracy, notify the supervisor of shortages, participate in monthly inventory counts, and maintain an assigned section of the warehouse.
    • Understanding of reverse loading of trucks and delivery route planning.
    • Cross-check all goods loaded on the truck so it matches the paperwork. Be able to provide a completed, signed delivery log to the Shipping and Receiving Supervisor at the day's end.
    • After delivering product, check for returns or packages to be taken back to warehouse.
    • Properly store and rotate all products and supplies that are stored in the warehouse.
    • Other job duties as assigned.

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

    • Must have a valid driver's license and be able to operate a box truck.
    • High school diploma or GED required.  Bachelor’s degree preferred. 
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Excellent MS Office and math skills
    • Good understanding of inventory ordering systems. 
    • Experience with Eatec preferred.
    • Ability to operate a forklift certified preferred.
    • Must be able to speak English.
