Distribution Clerk, Sr. jobs in Saint Cloud, MN

Gain new skills in this entry-level administrative position! Doherty Staffing Solutions is partnering with a leading manufacturing and production company located in Cold Spring, MN. We are seeking candidates for Distribution Clerk roles on the overnight shift. The hours for this position are 5:45pm–6:00am. Compensation for these contract and direct-hire opportunities is $19.00-$21.00 per hour, depending on shift and experience.

What a Distribution Clerk will do:

• Receive emails requesting appointment date and time
• Reply by email of the appointment scheduled on our calendar with arrival dates and times
• Compare identifying information and count, weigh, or measure items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against the bill of ladings, invoices, orders, or other records
• Operate computer with various computer programs to input retrieved data and other documents to prepare for pick-up of scheduled product
• Check in all inbound and outbound deliveries with the pickup numbers provided by the drivers and obtain information from drivers to complete the Trailer Inspection Form and print Bill of Ladings
• Communicate with the internal team to determine which dock door to send the trucker to
• Answer phone calls, assist with directions to the facility, and other customer service items as needed
• Responsible for directing all incoming phone calls to the right company representative depending on the nature of the call
• Greet and refer all visitors and customers in a friendly and efficient manner as possible
• Coordinate regular inventory counts as required by customers and the company

What you need to be a Distribution Clerk:

• Excellent communication skills
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office products
• Good customer service, problem-solving, and time management skills
• 1-2 years of experience is preferred, but not required #WorkNow
