Minimum - Bachelor's Degree supply chain management or related field - Strong oral / written communication skills; ability to communicate to associates, customers and vendors - Position level determined by plant size and operational complexity - Excellent planning and resource allocation skills - Ability to write reports and maintain logs - Strong knowledge of warehouse documentation - Ability to learn Krogers inventory system - Proficient in Microsoft Office Desired - Direct work experience in a warehouse management function or supply chain management position - Leadership position in food manufacturing- Oversee the ordering and management of all raw materials - Manage the receiving, shipping, handling, distribution, and storage of all freight, product, and supplies that come in and out of the facility - Ensure all orders are shipped in a timely manner in adherence to delivery schedules - Communicate all delays or variances in inbound / outbound freight to the appropriate parties - Maintain strict control over inventory levels in order to meet internal and external customer demand - Identify discrepancies between inventory records and take action - Plan and maintain warehouse layout and space requirements in order to prevent loss or damage, and to achieve full warehouse optimization - Investigate causes of lost or damaged shipments and other matters;
