Communicates and monitors production measurement metrics and sets performance targets at the team and individual level for all distribution-related functions that align with company objectives and are within regulatory guidelines. This unique distribution specialist position requires a person with a wide variety of talents including the ability to multi-task between shipping, receiving, and load building daily. Driving a van or small truck is required occasionally. The ideal candidate will be hardworking, reliable, talented, accurate, safety conscious and experienced at achieving customer satisfaction:
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Provides a high level of customer service
- Receives incoming freight (forklift experience required)
- Prepares customer loads for packaging, pick-up and shipments
- Makes safe lumber deliveries to customer’s homes and job sites with a van or small truck as needed
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of 5 years forklift experience
- Safety oriented
- Ability to lift lumber repetitively
- High attention to detail
- Extremely accurate
- Thrives in a fast-paced contractor / end user sales environment
