Distribution Manager manages and deploys the operational strategy, business processes, and systems for overall distribution operations, including order fulfillment, warehousing, inventory management, and transportation. Communicates and monitors production measurement metrics and sets performance targets at the team and individual level for all distribution-related functions that align with company objectives and are within regulatory guidelines. Being a Distribution Manager utilizes data-driven analytical tools and systems to continuously monitor operations, identify inefficiencies, and develop optimization strategies. Troubleshoots and resolves escalated operational issues. Additionally, Distribution Manager ensures all operations adhere to industry safety protocols and comply with OSHA, DOT, or other governmental regulations. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Distribution Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Distribution Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Prior management experience preferred
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
- Assess productivity of the physical environment of the Warehouse and make changes where necessary.
- Monitor product usage and communicate information to the Director, maintaining appropriate min/max levels for all business.
- Coordinate cycle/periodic inventory counts, verify counts for review by the Director.
- Audit inventory errors to determine error origination and report to the Director.
- Assess inventory and identify cost saving measures.
- Be knowledgeable about usage reports to determine inventory turnover.
- Keep inventory clean and secure.
- New employee orientation; assist in staff evaluation and monitoring; know how to maintain staff training records.
- Ensuring the Warehouse complies with accreditation board requirements.
- Scheduling of staff, approving time cards, fixing punches.
- Establish and maintain relationship with other department heads to promote operational efficiencies.
- Ensure that the warehouse environment/your work area is kept in a clean, orderly fashion at all times.

- Monday - Friday 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- Rotational Saturday if needed
