• As a Contract Manager, under the general direction of the Director of Supply Chain and Logistical Services, you will coordinate contractual operations for the Health System and its affiliates
  • Comply with all State of Mississippi Laws and Health System policies
  • Facilitate and comply with Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) membership, contracts, and requirements
  • Maintains GPO membership roster and initiates changes to add or remove affiliate accounts and communicates changes in a timely manner to affected internal departments
• Explain technical contract terminology, system policy, and applicable state regulations/laws to internal and external parties in an understandable language
  • Create effective relationships and establish constructive communication with all levels of personnel within the company to analyze and solidify an overall contract strategy to advance the system’s needs
  • Provide guidance and works closely with the Health System Purchasing departments, Supply Chain Management, and Value Analysis for contract compliance and pricing
  • Analyze contract terms and conditions to verify compliance with Health Systems policy, applicable state laws, GPO, and operational capability by affected internal Health System departments
• Create and present oral/written reports and recommendations within areas of assigned responsibility for Health System departments and leadership
  • Modify proposed contracts terms through redline draft revisions as necessary to meet Health system policy, regulatory, GPO and operational capability requirements
  • Audit and identifies problems and risk in current or proposed contracts and contractual process
