Join our team as a Distribution Manager in the Rincon, GA Fulfillment Center! The Distribution Manager oversees the operation of the Fulfillment Center. Responsible for managing labor, productivity, quality controls and safety. This position drives the continuous improvement of operational procedures, information flow and management, and overall business processes. The Distribution Manager communicates and shares business strategies and plans across organizational teams. Oversees and ensures supervisory responsibilities are completed in a manner consistent with Pacific Cycle’s service and cost objectives.

Below are some (but not all) of the key responsibilities of this role:

• Develops relationships with key business partners and senior leadership to identify and communicate opportunity to improve the fulfillment center operations.
• Partners with Transportation and Logistics, Demand Planning, Inventory, HR, Information Systems and other functional departments to plan and execute the business strategy.
• Monitors and drives quality, change management, culture, employee engagement, performance management, and overall operations of the Fulfillment Center.
• Leads and develops a high-performing team of managers, supervisors and leads.  
• Monitors and drives key performance metrics to ensure the business is providing excellent customer service while meeting company standards.
• Contributes to the development of new tools, processes and technology aimed at driving a more efficient and effective workforce.
• Supports operational strategy and innovation to drive business goals for revenue growth, operational performance, and profitability.
• Manages multiple priorities with effective communication and thorough follow through.
• Establishes sound process improvement initiatives that optimize day-to-day operations.
• Regularly communicates performance trends and organizational changes to the business.
• Supports recruiting, training, coaching and accountability of the Fulfillment Center. 
• Prepares departmental budget and controls expenditures against approved budget.
• Oversees and approves the purchase of operating supplies and materials.
• Drives processes that result in accurate inventory management.
• Creates and manages a safety culture focused on education, compliance and feedback to reduce risk.
• Reviews and approves required maintenance of facilities, buildings, and grounds to include coordinating outside vendor contracts, scheduling service calls, and other applicable programs.
• Drive internal controls and company policies set by Pacific Cycle.
• Contribute to the success of Pacific Cycle by leading or assisting with other projects and tasks as assigned.

Education & Experience Requirements

• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum of five (5) years management/supervisory experience in a mid-size to large high-volume logistics environment.
• Minimum of two (2) years eCommerce experience in a forward pick and replenishment environment.
• Strong technical skills including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and WMS experience.
• Ability to work in team environment as well as independently.
• Experience with SAP preferred.
