Distribution Manager manages and deploys the operational strategy, business processes, and systems for overall distribution operations, including order fulfillment, warehousing, inventory management, and transportation. Communicates and monitors production measurement metrics and sets performance targets at the team and individual level for all distribution-related functions that align with company objectives and are within regulatory guidelines. Being a Distribution Manager utilizes data-driven analytical tools and systems to continuously monitor operations, identify inefficiencies, and develop optimization strategies. Troubleshoots and resolves escalated operational issues. Additionally, Distribution Manager ensures all operations adhere to industry safety protocols and comply with OSHA, DOT, or other governmental regulations. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Distribution Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Distribution Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     What's the Short Version?
    The Project Manager, Distribution plans, organizes, and manages a project (or series of smaller projects within a larger program). They manage/develop the project budget, schedule, documentation, procedures, and track progress against approved milestones.

    What Will You Be Doing?
    • Manage the execution effort for assigned project to control scope, budget, schedule, quality, and risk.
    • Manage project timeframes, objectives, and communications including general process management and support.
    • Lead the initiation, planning, and analysis of project activities.
    • Ensure compliance with corporate requirements including quality measures and quality assurance standards.
    • Utilize project schedule as the instrument to convey progress, delays, risks, and mitigation plan to get back on track.
    • Analyze and present data to stakeholders over course of the project.
    • Evaluate risk and opportunity impacts to existing or proposed projects and suggests risk mitigation actions.
    • Act as key contact for all cross-functional teams regarding systems, processes, and data related to the project.

    What Are We Looking For?
    • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
    • 1-3 years of project management experience.
    • 1-3 years of data management experience.
    • Knowledge of project management methodologies.

    What's Our Offer?
    Salary Range: You`ll earn between $75,000 - $100,000 annually, depending on experience.

    Bonus: You`ll be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus up to 10% of base salary.

    Paid Time Off: You`ll accrue paid time off on a bi-weekly basis based on hours worked up to 112 hours per year to start. Employees also receive 7 paid holidays and 1 paid family day off.

    What Should You Expect?
    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle or feel. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Work environment is moderately quiet. Ability to work on computer for multiple hours with frequent interruptions.

    SanMar's Eastpointe office is located near Seattle, WA and our standard working hours are 8:00-5:00 PST. Quarterly travel may be required.
