Distribution Manager manages and deploys the operational strategy, business processes, and systems for overall distribution operations, including order fulfillment, warehousing, inventory management, and transportation. Communicates and monitors production measurement metrics and sets performance targets at the team and individual level for all distribution-related functions that align with company objectives and are within regulatory guidelines. Being a Distribution Manager utilizes data-driven analytical tools and systems to continuously monitor operations, identify inefficiencies, and develop optimization strategies. Troubleshoots and resolves escalated operational issues. Additionally, Distribution Manager ensures all operations adhere to industry safety protocols and comply with OSHA, DOT, or other governmental regulations. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Distribution Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Distribution Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. We are looking for someone who will rise to the challenge in helping build Agreena’s Pricing, Structuring & Broker Distributions Team in collaboration with our Carbon Markets & Solution Sales department. You will be responsible for building relationships and distribution channels to counterparts such as brokerage firms, trading companies and financial institutions. You will have an opportunity to influence the team’s strategy, co-create a high-impact team and step into a newly established role and contribute to building the team and distribution model.
The ideal candidate for this role will be both experienced in institutional coverage and entrepreneurial by nature and will have a passion for building and managing client relationships, strategic partnership and sales while delivering strong financial performance and building talent. The ideal candidate will need to be comfortable with navigating ambiguity and the demands that naturally arise from rapid growth.
Ideally you will be comfortable making the journey to London at least 2 days per week to spend time in one of our main offices. There will also be regular travel to other offices, alongside other trips for Sales Events and Road Shows.
