Retail District Manager

We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced District Manager to oversee our stores in the Tri-State & MA & PA area. You will be responsible for opening new stores, and building and training the entire sales team, based in NJ or NY. You ensure that our stores meet and exceed sales targets, provide exceptional customer service, and maintain operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales goals
• Recruit, train, and develop Store Managers and the team
• Conduct store visits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
• Analyze store performance data and identify areas for improvement
• Collaborate with other departments; allocation, merchandising, visuals, and marketing and to achieve company goals
• Ensure that all stores are in compliance with all safety, security, and legal requirements
• Follow-up and check all store windows and in-store visuals are properly made and presented, if needed able to create the windows, and displays
• Manage expenses and budgets for the district
• Tracking and oversee all area stores weekly schedules
• Maximize customer conversion and add-on selling results by close monitoring of KPI’s.
• Make sure all staff have the excellent product knowledge and are regularly trained on new merchandise and achieve the highest levels of customer service
• Provide new concepts, feedback, and new initiatives to the Retail Operations Manager, and be a part of how we continue to build the showroom concepts.
• Understand the store concept, target customer, and area competition.
• Participate customers in conversation and assist in the understanding, demonstration, description and selection of merchandise.
• Ensure the merchandising stock levels are frequently reviewed and maintained to maximize sales and communicate directly with the merchandising team to ensure the store is following the required standard.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in retail management, with at least 2 years in a District Manager role
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management or a related field preferred
• Strong leadership, training, and team-building skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven track record of accomplishing sales targets and improving store performance
• Strong analytical skills and capability to use data to drive decision-making

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
