Job Summary
The primary function of the service manager is to manage and supervise all aspects of service operation, under the guidance of the store manager.
Duties And Responsibilities
· Ensure excellent internal and external customer service and communication
· Demonstrate ability to effectively work with a team
· Assist with recruiting, hiring, training, monitoring, & evaluating staff
· Supervise all service personnel & operations
· Ensure and/or demonstrate application of mechanical & computer application expertise
· Organize work for efficient & quality operation
· Assign tasks, schedule work hours
· Monitor inventory levels
· Promote/ assist with parts sales
· Maintain knowledge of all service processes & equipment
· Direct or participate with giving repair estimates
· Oversee and/or perform repair work & necessary scheduled maintenance
