District Technical Service Manager manages an organization's technical customer support policies, objectives, and initiatives. Provides mentoring, leadership, and organization to managers and supervisors. Being a District Technical Service Manager oversees the creation and implementation of processes that maximize efficiency and meet or exceed service quality and customer satisfaction goals. Monitors and measures service metrics and volume to develop standards, improvements, or changes to workflows and resource allocation. Additionally, District Technical Service Manager makes recommendations for changes to products or services based on customer feedback and requests. Engages in resource planning and decision-making. Coordinates across functions to support future products and releases. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a director or top management. The District Technical Service Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a District Technical Service Manager typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Food Service Site Manager

  • SUMMARY: Responsible for provides supervision and participates in operation of site cafeteria in the receipt and service of food for the School District.

     

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Supervises, coordinates, prioritizes and schedules the daily cafeteria support functions and staff for a school cafeteria
    • Account for monies collected and taken to supervisor;
    • Updates free and reduced lunch files and records
    • Orders food from preparation kitchen according to food count
    • Oversees the daily cleaning, sanitizing and preparation of food preparation, food service and eating areas
    • Oversees the maintenance of floors in a clean non-slippery manner
    • Enforces food handling and dress codes
    • Enforces safety regulations in the preparation and serving of food
    • Maintains food at proper temperatures
    • Supervises and prepares food in accordance with NSLP guidelines.
    • Maintains inventories of food stocks, and supplies; submits food and supply
    • Prepares and maintains commercial cafeteria equipment
    • Prepares work orders for necessary repairs

     

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

    • Knowledge of District rules, regulations, policies and procedures
    • Knowledge of care and operation of commercial food preparation and service equipment
    • Knowledge of food likes and dislikes of the student population
    • Knowledge of supervision and training methods and techniques
    • Knowledge of federal, state and District food preparation health and safety regulations and guidelines
    • Knowledge of customer service methods and techniques
    • Ability to speak and read English proficiently
    • Skill in overseeing, training, delegating, assigning and evaluating staff
    • Skill in enforcing health regulations and safety practices and procedures
    • Skill in handling, accounting for and preparing monies for deposit
    • Skill in written and oral communications
    • Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships

    QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

    Education & Experience:

    • High School diploma or equivalent
    • Two (2) years food preparation or food service experience (Preferred)
    • Must possess current/valid AZ Driver’s License
    • Must possess and maintain current food handler certification
    • Finger Print Clearance
    • Maintain requirements for access to Fort Huachuca

    Any equivalent combination of training, education and experience that meets minimum requirements

     

    Computer Proficiency:

    Basic Computer Skills

    WORK ENVIRONMENT:

    Work is performed in a commercial kitchen food preparation environment. The noise level in the work environment is generally moderate and may become excessively noisy at times. Contact with employees, students and public.  May be exposed to commercial food preparation areas with hot ovens, dangerous equipment.
