Job Description Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Division Manager to join our team as a working manager in the Energy industry. In this position, you will be responsible for providing high-quality service and maintenance for propane systems, catering primarily to commercial customers while driving the team’s day-to-day activities and learning to lead the business in growth. This role requires strong technical knowledge, exceptional problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service and the ability to manage people and multiple projects at remote locations.

Essential Functions

• Manage multiple projects and crews at remote locations.
• Manage P&L according to budgets.
• Communicate with customers to bid and sell new jobs.
• Respond to service calls and emergency situations promptly and efficiently, ensuring minimal downtime for customers.
• Provide technical guidance and support to customers regarding propane system usage, maintenance, and safety precautions.
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of propane systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Install, upgrade, and modify propane systems to meet customer requirements and regulatory standards.
• Diagnose and repair propane system malfunctions and issues, adhering to safety guidelines and protocols.
• Diagnose and repair metering systems, to include calibration and certification.
• Perform leak tests to identify and resolve potential gas leaks promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of service calls, inspections, and repairs.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position is responsible for the direct supervision of all technical staff under this Division. This includes, but is not limited to:

• All Hiring Manager aspects of the hiring process and new hire onboarding.
• Organizing and overseeing the schedules and work of staff.
• Coaching and development.
• Conducting performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
• As needed, progressive discipline in partnership with Human Resources and Senior Leadership.
