JOBSUMMARY
The divisionmanager position is responsible for ensuring the safe and productive day-to-daydistribution activities of the retail and terminal operation. The ideal candidate will be a hands on teamleader that motivates the division staff, while providing guidance anddirection to obtaining the goals of the division. In addition to being a team leader, thesuccessful candidate must possess excellent communication skills and be able tomaintain a high level of customer service.
Additionally,the successful candidate must possess a strong understanding of our retailpropane operations and have the ability to utilize current and future computersoftware tools to enhance division efficiencies. This multi-faceted position will require asolid background in safety, customer service, DOT and regulatory compliance,employee relations and strong computer skills.
ESSENTIALDUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
· Analyzeand execute operational business plans for profitability.
· ManageP & L and controllable expenditure statement
· Analyzeand review division reports
· Assistwith Accounts Receivable collection
· Enforceand maintain company policies and procedures
· Understandand interpret Federal, local and state regulations for compliance
· Managethe Redding-Rail Car Terminal, scheduling & organization of rail carmovements
· Ensurescompany compliance with safety codes and policies including the maintenance and repair of division fleet.
· Appropriatelycreates implements and executes strategies to achieve business plan objectives.
· Effectivelymanage staff for improved efficiencies and performance.
· Assistsin the division’s sales by increasing customer base. Works with the sales team to obtain quality longterm sustainable growth.
· Worksclosely with & provides field support to the service & delivery departments,executes highest level of customer service.
· Interviewing, hiring, and training divisionstaff.
· Proactively addresses and resolves employee/customerissues with fairness.
· Appraisesemployee work performance and behavior.
· Reviewsdaily work to ensure accuracy and proper documentation from all departments .

MINIMUM JOBREQUIREMENTS
· Minimumof high school diploma or equivalent
· Atleast 5 years in the propane gas or gas distribution services industry
· CommercialClass B License with proper endorsements
