Division Budget Manager jobs in Columbus, OH

We are looking for an individual who is dedicated, creative and eager to increase in leadership with our quickly growing company, Budget Buys. The ideal candidate will have experience working on a team and managing the daily operations and systems of a business. They will be responsible for maintaining the standard of work from employees, onboarding and hiring new team members, and leading effective work teams across operations. All-in-all we are looking for someone who wants to be a team player, can adjust well to change and who leads by example.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to a team of people in a loving and supportive way that builds loyalty and buy in.
• Direct and oversee the operations and systems of the warehouse and its various departments.
• Identify areas of possible opportunity in revenue growth, customer service enhancement, financial performance, and process improvement leading to higher efficiency.
• Analyze business trends to maximize profit margin, focusing on controllable expenses, labor, and cost of goods.
• Work collaboratively with our partner company, Zipperbuy, and their operations and marketing teams to build a successful brand and to foster true guest loyalty.
• Directly supervise hourly team members, providing effective coaching to grow our team and creating a lead by example culture through effective communication.
• Maintain and build strong working relationships with vendors and members of the community.

Basic Qualifications:

• 2 years of warehouse / retail operations management.
• Superior written and verbal communication skills required.
• Demonstrated initiative, motivation, and team-building skills.
• Basic knowledge of retail or reverse logistics arena.
• Superior organization, communication, and guest service abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field preferred.
• Experience in higher level leadership.

Physical Requirements:

Will regularly stand, walk, talk, carry, bend, stoop, turn and lift in excess of fifty (50) pounds. Entity Managers will also view a computer monitor, utilize their phone for communications and type/write on a regular basis. Team lift required on anything over fifty (50) pounds and/or an awkward lift
