Leads the budgeting process for annual, quarterly, and monthly budget development. Being a Division Budget Manager develops budgetary policies and guidelines to optimize the budget. Incorporates past financial results into budget development. Additionally, Division Budget Manager monitors and analyzes performance against budgets. Implements tools and reporting used for planning, forecasting, monitoring, and decision support. May require a MBA. Typically reports to a director. The Division Budget Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Division Budget Manager typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. - Tech Generated Leads (TGL) Oversight: Ensure the efficient and effective utilization of TGL, transforming end-of-life opportunities into new system installations whenever possible. This requires a laser-focused approach.
- Team Development: Mentor, train, and lead a team of HVAC technicians, fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage annual budgets, optimize costs, and ensure resources are utilized effectively.
- Quality Control: Implement and monitor quality control measures, ensuring all installations, repairs, and maintenance meet industry standards and company expectations.
- Customer Relations: Act as a point of escalation for any customer issues, ensuring resolution and maintaining the company's reputation for exceptional service.
- Safety Oversight: Ensure that all safety regulations and company protocols are strictly followed, promoting a culture of safety first.
- Vendor Relations: Negotiate contracts, foster strong relationships with suppliers, and ensure the timely delivery of equipment and parts.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to set long-term goals, streamline operations, and drive company growth.
- Reporting & Analysis: Regularly evaluate the performance metrics of the department, provide insights, and implement strategies for improvement.
Qualifications and Skills- Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in the HVAC industry, with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity.
- Certifications: Relevant HVAC certifications (e.g., NATE, EPA Section 608).
- Technical Prowess: Deep knowledge of HVAC systems, installation processes, and best practices.
- Service Titan Proficiency: Experience and proficiency with Service Titan CRM are a must.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Problem Solving: Ability to think critically, analyze complex situations, and implement effective solutions.
