Divisional Merchandising Manager jobs in Saint Louis, MO

Capital Equipment is currently seeking a Divisional Equipment Manager to coordinate, facilitate, and execute equipment activities to support all dirt/bridge construction projects. This position will be located in Southwest Missouri. 

Responsibilities 

• Oversees the daily workflow, scheduling, and assignments of the equipment.
• Provide oversight and direction of inventory management and vendor relations.
• Inspects and performs maintenance on assigned equipment and facilities.
• Maintains files of warranties, records, licenses, inspections, service agreements, and contracts for various pieces of equipment.
• Maintains the inventory, storage, and distribution of equipment.
• Provides recommendations for purchases of new equipment.
• Collaborates with other appropriate management to prepare and implement budget.
• Manage shop maintenance operations to ensure quality standards are met.
• Ensure completion and accuracy of work performed.
• Develop, train, and mentor shop employees.
• Communicate performance expectations and company initiatives to employees on a regular basis.
• Assist in the development and delivery of performance reviews.
• Provide ongoing feedback to improve employee performance and morale.
• Ensure all safety policies and programs are being followed.
• Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

• Associate or Bachelor's Degree in a related field, preferred but not required. 
• 5 years of supervisor/management experience
• Fleet maintenance and mechanical knowledge.
• Proficient with diagnostic tools is a plus
• Must be able to troubleshoot and repair engine, transmission, and electrical issues
• Must be able to work flexible hours/some weekends
• Obtain a valid driver’s license
• Must pass a pre-employment physical and drug/alcohol screen
