Divisional Merchandising Manager directs and develops merchandising plans and operational systems to achieve financial objectives. Utilizes sales, research, and trend analytics to develop strategies for merchandise categories and optimize product assortments. Being a Divisional Merchandising Manager develops merchandise plans and pricing that support key strategic initiatives, launches, top sellers, seasonal campaigns, and trends. Partners across functions to manage vendor relationships, identify new vendors, and negotiate favorable contract terms. Additionally, Divisional Merchandising Manager requires a bachelor's degree in marketing, merchandising, business or other related field. Typically reports to top management. The Divisional Merchandising Manager manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Divisional Merchandising Manager typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. WIS Merchandising Associate Responsibilities:- Read and set planograms.
- Product merchandising, resets, and tagging.
- Fixture tear down, rebuilding, and relocating.
- Create and maintain a safe work environment.
Team Requirements:- Access to reliable transportation for long-distance travel
- A valid driver’s license and meeting the WIS driver requirements are required.
- Retail merchandising/setting/stocking experience preferred.
- Ability to travel via automobile or plane, including overnight stays (up to 100% of the time)
- Daily access to a mobile device with Internet
- Must be able to work the entire duration of the project up to 14 consecutive weeks.
- Ability to stand, kneel, crouch, and use a step stool on concrete surfaces for 8 hours.
- Must be able to regularly lift 25lbs and 60lbs on occasion.
- Must be willing to complete pre-employment investigative consumer report, pre-employment screening, and/or Customer-specific Certification program.
