Document Control Analyst administers document and record control operations, policies, and procedures for the secure management and access of company information assets. Maintains and enforces security protocols for the access, storage, backup, maintenance, reproduction, protection, and disposition of all documents. Being a Document Control Analyst evaluates media formats and follows storage requirements to protect and secure records/information. Analyzes access and control procedures to comply with requirements for varying levels of security classifications specified by the governing authority. Description
• Perform or assist in the Device History Record (DHR) review process of quality records prior to shipping/transfer to inventory.
• Perform or assist in the resolution of documentation non-conformances.
• Scanning and electronic archiving of company documents.
• Routing appropriate paperwork to correct departments.
• Assist in the company's shipping and receiving functions for inventory.
• Assist in managing relationships and ensuring on-time delivery and communication.
• Organize and maintain the company's document control processes, including ECN, NCMR and RMA records.
• Provide assistance with logistics, manufacturing, inspection and shipping as needed.
• Responsible for preventative maintenance activities.
• Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
• Performs document control activities as per applicable medical device regulations and standards (including 21CFR820 and ISO 13485).
• Attention to detail.
• ERP (Epicor) and eQMS (Trackwise) experience a plus.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed and as assigned.
• Team player to work with various departments to both manage priorities and to resolve
discrepancies.
