DOCUMENT CONTROL SPECIALIST

PAY: $16/hourly

SHIFT: 1st (8:00a-5:00p) Mon-Fri

Currently searching a candidate for a Document Control Specialist position for a local leading producer that focuses on providing cardboard tubes, cores and rings designed to support the winding of papers, plastic films, fabrics or formwork for building trades. This position will require for you to be IN OFFICE, this is NOT a remote position.

The Document Control Specialist will report to the Quality Manager. Will be responsible for reviewing and verifying document records to ensure the documentation complies with regulations and internal quality control practices. Primary role is to maintain record archives, reviewing them for accuracy and relevance, controlling the incoming and outgoing documentation process. As part of administrative duties, the control specialist will be handling the official altering of documents through change requests (CR) and document and change orders (DCOs). May also make scans of paper documents to digitalize the records. This position is critical to smooth operations within corporate infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Administer centralized library of data and records, ensuring secure processes and limited access.
• Administer information retrieval and disbursement processes, observing all legal regulations regarding restricted information.
• Respond to requests for information in a timely manner.
• Verify completeness and accuracy of stored documentation, as well as appropriate file formatting.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience with data and document management preferred.
• Must be highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Strong computer and data entry skills.
• Possess impeccable attention to detail.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Preferred bachelor's degree.
