Position Overview:
The Document Control Representative I receive and prioritizes requests for quotes. You will assign quotes to the appropriate estimator; track and respond to inquiries from companies issuing the request for quotes; collect, maintain, and distribute all necessary documents needed to define product configuration and control manufacturing processes to ensure conformance to customers' requirements. Work is performed with general supervision.
Shift: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
A day in the life of the Document Control Rep
Begin your day by receiving and prioritizing your quotes. Confirm that all documents are available for quote requests and ensure that all drawing and technical documents are legible and easily identifiable. You will then set up the quotes, complete the data entry, and assign to the appropriate estimator.
