Administrative Technician - Document Control

We are currently seeking a candidate for an Administrative Technician/Document Control position serving one of our clients in the Palm Springs Area
Job Summary:
The Administrative Technician performs a wide variety of development services counter duties needed in support of our building department operations. This is a full-time benefited position working with a dedicated and efficient staff of professionals. The position requires an energetic individual who possesses exceptional customer service skills, a technical aptitude and who is well organized, flexible, and reliable. Experience working in a contractor or architects office helpful.
Duties may include:
- Scanning and filing documents efficiently
- Perform routine data processing, data entry, and general office support tasks as required
- General front counter duties as necessary reception, respond to
customer inquiries mail management, filing and manage phones
- Manage and maintain office supplies & maintenance of office equipment
- Perform research on projects, which includes gathering, compiling, and analyzing information
- Maintaining database/spreadsheets for tracking information and reporting purposes
- Support managers and others to meet project needs
- Other related duties and responsibilities as assigned
Preferred Skills:
- Works well in a team environment
- Motivated, self-starter attitude with a willingness to learn
- The ability to work independently yet efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent computer skills: comfortable in working with PC platform, fluent in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, etc.) Experience using CRW Track it software is a plus
- Proficient in operating a variety of modern office equipment including copiers, computers, word
processors, and printers
