Document Imaging Operator operates document imaging equipment to create electronic files or archives. Prepares documents for scanning, scans documents, and verifies quality of digital images. Being a Document Imaging Operator indexes and stores images according to organization guidelines. Troubleshoots and makes adjustments to equipment when necessary. Additionally, Document Imaging Operator typically requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Document Imaging Operator possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. BASIC FUNCTION:
Under the general direction of CT Department Coordinator, exercises initiative, sound judgment and discretion to coordinate procedures and activities of C.T. section. Is responsible for maintenance of quality procedures and patient care.
EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE:
A.R.R.T. registered in radiography required. CT Registry required within one year of position acceptance. (Beginning January 2003 Ohio Licensure Required
CPR Certification required
Must be computer literate to complete task(s) as required. Such as MediTech (Hospital Support Software), Halogen (performance appraisal system) Relias (education system), ability to retrieve e-mails, complete on line enrollment for health insurance/benefits and any other programs as assigned.
