Document Imaging Operator operates document imaging equipment to create electronic files or archives. Prepares documents for scanning, scans documents, and verifies quality of digital images. Being a Document Imaging Operator indexes and stores images according to organization guidelines. Troubleshoots and makes adjustments to equipment when necessary. Additionally, Document Imaging Operator typically requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES: Operation of sonographic equipment, perform and communicate results of diagnostic examinations using sonography.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
The job holder must demonstrate current competencies applicable to the job position. Availability for evening and Saturday shifts
EDUCATION: High school diploma; graduation from a formal sonography program.
EXPERIENCE: Minimum of one or more years’ experience and/or training
CERTIFICATIONS: Registered Diagnostic Sonographer (ARDMS) credential Sonographer required. Current BLS

ABILITIES:
PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS: Requires full body motion. Must be able to lift/carry/move items weighing up to 50 pounds. Requires positioning of patients. Requires 20/20 correctable vision.
ENVIRONMENTAL/WORKING CONDITIONS: Medical office, exam and treatment rooms. Exposure to radiation, needles, and communicable diseases and other conditions common to radiology setting. Work location may vary between sites.
