Document Imaging Operator operates document imaging equipment to create electronic files or archives. Prepares documents for scanning, scans documents, and verifies quality of digital images. Being a Document Imaging Operator indexes and stores images according to organization guidelines. Troubleshoots and makes adjustments to equipment when necessary. Additionally, Document Imaging Operator typically requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Document Imaging Operator possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area.     Scanning/Preparing/Storage:

    • Prepare sensitive documents for scanning.
    • Reconstruct files in an organized and precise manner.
    • Scan documents using Kodak scanners into a secure file system.  
    • Review imaged documents, verifying the image quality meets the requirements outlined in that contract and correct image quality as required.  
    • Understand image quality and identify issues throughout the process for correction.
    • Maintain storage of documents for various customers.
    • Perform all contracted tasks in a timely manner.  

    Confidentiality:

    • Process potentially graphic and confidential documents.

    Communication:

    • Communicate efficiently with Supervisor and coworkers regarding job tasks.
    • Maintain appropriate conversations surrounding contracted work and uphold the highest standard of confidentiality per the contract requirements and/or Relay policy.  

    Problem Solving:

    • Support work environment in multiples tasks and handle work related issues that arise.
    • Keeps Supervisor informed of all issues pertaining to customer jobs and workflow maintenance.
