  • This position manages single to multiple Project Document & Data Management (PDDM) functions for one or several projects. This role provides supervision, direction, and training to PDDM Technicians, Specialists, Supervisors, and Analysts (on and off site). Having a full understanding of all PDDM functional roles, this position should be able to perform any role in PDDM and or teach in an efficient manner while maintaining effective communication with Project Client, internal taskforce members, field personnel, and Fluor global team members. This position requires consistent exercise of discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance. This position may step in for an absent lead or be expected to lead a project with multiple small scopes which therefore requires acute knowledge and experience in understanding and interpreting client specifications. This role may perform as an operations lead for multiple projects. •Manage all aspects of a project life cycle including scope definition, developing a detailed plan, tracking, managing, and communicating project status. •Assist Senior Management with group development, manpower planning and project work hour estimates for various projects. •May be required to give presentations to clients, projects, or management. •Work closely with PDDM team to perform general technical and administrative tasks as necessary providing direct supervision to support and meet project goals; perform associated problem solving, duties, and analytic tasks. •Utilize Fluor's document management system (DMS) at a high level. •Responsible for manpower planning for various project •Participate in meetings as required, such as project task force meetings or engineering team meetings; perform associated responsibilities as a member of the Lead Office project operations team •Provide insight and thoroughly follow the PDDM Quality and Execution Plans. •Participate in development of Fluor PDDM Global Practices •Adhere to and support Fluor’s Operational System Requirements (OSR) and any office Operating System Implementation Plan (OSIP)•10 to 15 years of relevant PDDM experience in the EPC/EPCM project environment, preferably in the Mining and Metals industry.• Project related experience in the engineering, procurement, fabrication, and construction (EPFC) industry. • Thorough, working knowledge of and experience with computers and specialized software programs such as electronic document management systems, relational databases, and internet-based project collaboration systems. • Strong organizational skills, judgment, and flexibility. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. • Leadership skills. • Demonstrated problem solving and decision-making skills • Ability to adapt to change, to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks and priorities.•Project related experience in the engineering, procurement, fabrication, and construction (EPFC) industry. •Thorough, working knowledge of and experience with computers and specialized software programs such as electronic document management systems, relational databases, and internet-based project collaboration systems. •Strong organizational skills, judgment, and flexibility. •Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. •Leadership skills and decision-making skills. •Ability to adapt to change, to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks and priorities. •Ability to attend to detail in a time-conscious and time-effective manner.
