Document Imaging Supervisor, a level I supervisor is considered a working supervisor with little authority for personnel actions. Being a Document Imaging Supervisor may require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Responsible for the receiving patients, collecting demographic and insurance information, verifying insurance coverage and authorization for services and accurately entering data into multiple computer systems for completion of the Imaging Services outpatient admission process.
This position requires the ability to learn and retain a broad base of knowledge concerning all examinations and make quick, independent decisions using good judgment.
Work situations require a service-oriented individual with the ability to respond to physicians, patients and families with empathy, respect and understanding.
Contacts include patients, families, referring physicians and their office staff.

Minimum one year of office / reception experience required preferably in a health care setting.
