The Diagnostic Imaging Supervisor will: * Provide technical assistance for all diagnostic procedures, which include supply, equipment operation, monitoring, imaging, use of medical devices and interpretation of data * Scrub assist for diagnostic and interventional procedures, which includes preparation of supplies and instruments, preparation and maintenance of the sterile field, preparation and manipulation of cardiac catheters, guide-wires and devices * Documentation of procedures and patient information according to hospital policy * Injection of contrast median and medications from the sterile field as directed and supervised by the physician * Assist to coordinate procedure schedule as assigned * Assist with inventory control as directed by the supervisor/manager
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
REQUIRED: Three years experience in radiology or combination of Allied Health Certificate and work experience
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION
REQUIRED: BLS—Healthcare Provider MRT (Texas Licensed) ARRT
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS &
ABILITIES: * Apply medical terminology * Practice basic computer skills * Requires reasoning, mathematical and language skills be performed at a level four or high school level; or college or technical training level
