    Position Purpose:  

    Responsible for maintaining an accurate, reliable document image system. This position is responsible for performing scanning of loan and supporting documentation into the bank’s imaging system for the different business units and divisions.        


    Responsibilities:       

    • Daily execution of document imaging with the highest level of consistency, efficiency, and accuracy.    
    • Identify, classify, and index loan and deposit documents at a high level of productivity and accuracy.                                                                                        
    • Make adjustments, corrections and changes to document images as needed. 
    • Prepare, scan and index all documents imaged. 
    • Able to perform repetitive tasks quickly and accurately.
    • Provide quality assurance by reviewing documents and indexing values for accuracy, legibility, and other key considerations.  
    • Communicate clearly with other company employees to resolve issues with documents that do not meet certain standards or contain required content.
    • Handle highly confidential company and employee information with the highest level of discretion. 
    • Review and prepare all documents received in house for digital scanning according to rules established by the department manager.  
    • Quality control of all document reports received in this department in a timely manner. 
    • Maintain batches of scanned documents as required by policies and procedures. 
    • Support other team members in meeting department goals and deadlines.
    • Must be able to work in a fast paced, busy environment
    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    This position reports to the Director of Document Imaging.

    Requirements

    Education and Certifications:      

    • High School Diploma or Equivalent.     

    Skills:       

    • Strong computer skills relevant to Microsoft Office Suites (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook). 
    • Knowledge of banking principles and regulations.
    • Strong decision-making/problem resolution skills.
    • Demonstrate strong analytical and math skills, organizational skills, and customer service skills.
    • Effective verbal and written skills to effectively communicate in the English language required.
    • Experience within Banking or similar field.  

    Abilities:     

    • Ability to learn bank programed software.
    • Ability to build and maintain relationships with accounts while providing exceptional customer service.
    • Ability to work all branch hours, remote or in office, including weekend and evenings.
    • Ability to work within a team environment. 
    • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. 
    • Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals, general business correspondence, and/or journals, or government regulations. 
    • Ability to deal directly with the public, on the phone or face to face, following the Bank’s Customer Service Standards.
    • Ability to exercise confidentiality, discretion in decision making and sound judgement in problem solving.
