Document Security Administrator jobs in Battle Creek, MI

General Information

• On-site security guard
• Shift hours: 12 Hours (Night Shifts Available)
• Full & Part-Time Available
• Pay rate: $18 / hour (based on experience)

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Attention to detail and problem solving while performing high end customer service to visitors and staff while carrying out safety and security procedures and site-specific policies.
• Processing a cool, calm and collected communication style with site leaders, vendors, and employees.
  
• Respond to security needs and calls for service
• Provide customer service to patrons and employees
• Conduct regular inspections of patrol and fixed post assignments
• Write reports and conduct interviews with victims and witnesses
• Secure crime scenes until local law enforcement arrives
• Work with local public agencies to ensure safety and security goals are met
• Arrive on time in proper uniform
• Stand post, which will require standing or walking for extended periods of time
• Assist client with facility upkeep (changing out rugs, wiping down windows, sweeping, mopping, etc.)

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent education level
• Ability to pass a background check
• Fluency in written and spoken English
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to maintain patron, employee, and company confidentiality
• Ability to memorize and quickly retrieve relevant information for incidents
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions for up to 12 hours
  
• Ability to lift, carry, and/or move up to 50 pounds as needed
• Availability to work non-traditional hours, including evenings, and weekends
