Classifies and files new documents following the established process. Being a Document Security Administrator fulfills document requests from authorized users and tracks the retrieval and disposition of documents. May prepare records for archiving, participate in audits, or assist in the destruction of records. Additionally, Document Security Administrator requires a high school diploma. May require security clearance. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Document Security Administrator works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Duties:
- Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to detect any suspicious activities
- Patrol designated areas on foot or by vehicle to prevent unauthorized access
- Respond promptly to alarms and investigate disturbances
- Provide assistance to customers, employees, and visitors in a professional and courteous manner
- Enforce company policies and procedures to maintain order and safety
- Conduct regular inspections of the premises to identify potential security risks
- Write detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of daily activities
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Security Guard or relevant position preferred
- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and multi task
- Have some basic knowledge of computers
- Knowledge of CCTV systems, access control, and alarm systems
- Valid First Aid/CPR certification is highly desirable
- Strong conflict management skills to handle challenging situations effectively
- Familiarity with surveillance techniques and procedures
- Previous experience in law enforcement or military is a plus
- Excellent observation skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
- Must obtain and maintain a Private security License with the state of Texas (we can direct you how to obtain one)
- Must obtain a TWIC credential (we can direct you on how to obtain one)
