Description: Job Title: Data Manager C Job Code: SAS20233001-96329 Job Location: Palm Bay, FL Job Description: Data Management (DM) is a critical program support discipline that plans, acquires, and provides stewardship for all product and product-related business and technical data, consistent with requirements, throughout the product and data life cycles. This role entails a comprehensive technical and management process that establishes and implements data identification, definition, acquisition, preparation, control, dissemination, disposition, and archiving. Essential Functions: * CDRL/SDRL Management - Ensure contract deliverables are provided to the customer on time, adhere to contract requirements, and are of high quality. Maintain the delivery schedule and coordinate with team members to provide inputs and communicate deadlines. * Documentation Formatting - Ensure program documentation adheres to internal standards, formatting requirements, and contract authorization. Ensure correct and complete markings on all documentation. Apply and track control numbers or other identifiers as required. * Data Handling and Transfer - Manage all communication (incoming and outgoing) with the customer, log and track messages, maintain folder structures, facilitate the transfer of data between different networks and systems, media burning, file scanning, and file uploading. * Data Entry - Input data into configuration management tool systems, ensure complete and accurate records, facilitate the correction of any errors or missing data. * Other - Provide other functional support as assigned to assist the execution of various engineering and program management activities. Qualifications: * Active TS/SCI clearance required * Requires strong technical knowledge of the job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with prior experience in an engineering support role such as data manager, data transfer agent (DTA), data transfer officer (DTO), compliance manager, quality assurance technician (QA/QC), technical writer, engineering administrator, or similar * Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio). Specific skills include the ablity to create and edit documents, generate and apply templates, generate and apply macros, edit and use styles, apply stamps, and apply other formatting functions within these tools. * Willingness to work overtime and/or outside of normal business hours as needed to meet critical deadlines and business requirements * Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. Preferred Additional Skills: * Experience working in a fast-paced continuous change / agile engineering environment * Experience using Configuration Management tools (Agile PDM, Subversion, Windchill) * Experience in continuous process improvement such as Lean Six Sigma
